Privacy Policy

This page explains what MyAvatarZone collects, why we collect it, how
we use it, and the rights you have. We try to write privacy policies
the way we'd want one written to us — short, specific, and free of
legal hedging that obscures what's actually happening.
What we collect
Account information. Your email address, a hashed password, and
the display name you choose. We never store your password in plain
text.
Uploaded content. Photos you upload, audio you upload or generate
through our voice synthesis tools, and scripts you write. Uploaded
photos are forwarded to our rendering provider (HeyGen) to produce
videos. We retain the photo's HeyGen asset reference, not the raw
bytes, after the upload completes.
Consent records. Every render captures the four-part consent
block (talent release, AI disclosure, no-celebrity, no-minor) along
with your IP address and a timestamp. This is our legal foundation
for the renders you create.
Render metadata. Job identifiers, provider status, render
duration, plan tier at submit time, and credit balances. We use this
to operate the service and to compute internal economics.
Telemetry & audit logs. Login attempts, admin actions, content
policy events, and security-relevant events. Sampled to keep the
record proportionate.
Payment events (sandbox today, production gated). Order IDs,
amounts, plan codes, and Cashfree event records when applicable.
What we don't collect
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not track you across other sites.
- We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not access your photo library, contacts, or device sensors.
How we use it
- To operate the service you signed up for.
- To prevent abuse (rate-limiting, brute-force protection, content
policy filtering).
- To respond to support requests you initiate.
- To send transactional emails directly related to your account.
Sharing with providers
We use a small set of third-party providers under data processing
agreements:
- HeyGen (avatar video rendering) — receives the photo, audio,
and render parameters for the renders you submit.
- Anthropic / OpenAI (via the Emergent universal key) — receive
the script-generation prompts and AI Twin conversation messages
you initiate.
- Cashfree (payments, sandbox in preview) — receives order and
payment details when you initiate a checkout.
- Resend (transactional email, when enabled) — receives the
message content of emails we send you.
We do not share with anyone else.
Your rights
- Access. Email us and we will provide a copy of your account
data.
- Deletion. Email us and we will remove your account, renders,
and associated audit data within thirty days. Some logs may be
retained longer for legal compliance.
- Export. Your renders are downloadable directly from your
library.
- Correction. Update your profile from the Account page, or
email us for changes we don't expose in the UI.
Children
MyAvatarZone is not intended for use by anyone under 16. The consent
flow requires you to confirm the depicted person is not a minor.
